Our firm is owned and managed by three principals who are registered civil engineers. They are working engineers who are actively engaged in the completion of all of the company’s projects. All of the engineers and designers in our firm take an active role in the various phases of each project and all serve from time to time on survey crews in the field. In undertaking a project, one of the principals is assigned overall responsibility for maintaining the project on schedule and within budget and for monitoring the project’s quality. However, all engineers work together on the project and consult with one another frequently to ensure that the client is given the full benefit of the firm’s experience and knowledge.
Our firm presently has a staff of 15, including five registered professional engineers, a registered land surveyor, two CADD technicians, three engineering technicians, two construction observers, and survey crews. Eight of our staff, including four of the engineers, are trained in CADD. We operate from an office building in Scottsdale and have all of the vital tools necessary for accurately meeting the needs of our clients. These tools include:
- Computers
- Scanners
- Plotters
- Networked CADD system work stations
- Versions of both AutoCAD and MicroStation Software
- Global positioning system (GPS) and total station survey equipment
- Electronic distance measuring equipment and theodolites
- Automatic levels and laser levels
- And the many necessary office and surveying aids for competitive professional engineering services.
Our software library includes hydrology (HEC-HMS & TR20), hydraulic (HEC-RAS & WaterCAD), storm drain (StormCAD), roadway/earthwork (AutoCAD Land Development), coordinate geometry (COGO, COGO Plus and Land Development Desktop & Civil Design), project management (PrimaVera), word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Excel), pavement management (MicroPaver), and presentation (PowerPoint) programs.
By effectively utilizing the above tools, we are able to offer a wide variety of services in the civil engineering field including:
